NHIT's Daroda toll plaza faced high grid tariffs and four to five hours of daytime power cuts covered by a diesel generator. OORZI built a mini grid of 150 kW of solar and a 525 kWh battery, and sells the power at a fixed tariff for 15 years.

What is battery storage as a service?
OORZI installs and owns a battery energy storage system (BESS) at your site. You pay a monthly service fee or lease, and get backup, peak savings and lower diesel use without buying the battery.
Can a battery replace my diesel generator?
For many sites it can carry critical loads through power cuts and sharply cut diesel use. At NHIT's Daroda toll plaza, solar with a 525 kWh battery carries the plaza through daily cuts.
Does storage work with solar?
Yes. Solar plus storage stores daytime solar for evening peaks and outages, and is often where the biggest savings are.
Who maintains the battery?
OORZI operates, monitors and maintains it for the full contract term.
